The pod reads the putter's motion hundreds of times a second and the app turns it into numbers you can act on. Practice or play, every putt is kept.
Face at impact
Open or closed, in degrees, against where the face pointed at address. It sets most of the start line.
Face rotation at the top
How far the face opened on the way back, and how much it had to close again.
Stroke path and face-to-path
In-to-out or out-to-in through impact, and the face angle relative to that path.
Tempo
Backstroke time against forward-stroke time. Good putters sit close to 2 : 1.
Head speed
Putter speed at impact, the number behind distance control.
Loft change
Loft added or taken off by impact. Strike location on the face comes with a calibration update.
Setup at address
Lie and the putter's angles when you set up, so the app can separate aim from stroke.
Rounds
Putts counted per hole. Rules of Golf mode hides the analysis while you play (Rule 4.3).

What's in the box?
The PuttSense pod (about 12 g) and the clip that holds it on your putter shaft. The pod charges over USB-C. You get the PuttSense app for your phone and PuttSense Studio on the web with your account.
Which phones does it work with?
iPhone and Android, over Bluetooth. Studio, for replays and reports, runs in a web browser on a computer, tablet or phone.
Does it work on any putter?
Yes. It clips on the shaft of any putter, blade or mallet. The guided setup (twirl, flat, face down, address) calibrates the pod to your putter, so the numbers are about your putter's face.
Can I use it in a round under the Rules of Golf?
Switch the app to Round. It keeps counting putts per hole, and Rules of Golf mode hides the live stroke analysis while you play (Rule 4.3). You can look at the putts after the round.
What about the battery?
The pod has a rechargeable battery and charges over USB-C.
Do I need a subscription?
Yes. The pod works with an active PuttSense subscription, which includes the app and Studio.
